Good News / Bad News
Good News first, always:
I fixed the Internet.
Yes, it's true. Much like Al Gore invented it, I fixed it. And Microsoft, Google, Dell, etc should all be worried that there's a new game in town. Of course, I haven't tested my Internet-fixing ability outside our small wireless household network but I'm fairly positive it's a transferable skill.
Bad News:
Thor, The Hoppy Bug Thug, is Back.
Also true - Thor The Hoppy Bug Thug is back in our basement. Word on the street (or should I say in the dirt) has it that since a new Wisconsin Contingent is approaching with the Hazelwood parents due in town for a visit tomorrow (also good news, but delivered under a bad news heading), the Hoppy Bug Kingdom has trotted out their biggest and baddest, Thor The Hoppy Bug Thug, to "greet" them much in the same way he greeted me my first day in town. Wanna make your skin crawl a bit? Type "camel cricket" or "cave cricket" into google.com and find out more.

Dear Fellow Southerners,
I know the hoppy bug and its habits. Its bark is worse than its bite (i.e., it has no skills beyond hopping). I believe its a cricket. You should really be keeping an eye out for brown recluse spiders. check out the site http://whatsthatbug.com for all your bug questions. I love it!
p.s. Missouri is getting more blue thanks to Clair McCaskill's win.
p.p.s. I will soon be a Northerner and that will change everything. Got a job in chicago!

What was wrong with that internet this time? You been spending too much time at www.nakedchics.com? That's a line from King of the Hill by the way, essentially a cartoon about NC, however set in Texas. Is there really much difference?
